For those who haven’t seen it yet, a new decadent Chocolate Protein Brownie Mix has hit the shelves at Bulk HQ.

Combining three pure protein sources with the goodness of oats and almond meal, these low sugar, high protein brownies are full of nutrients.

With 8 grams of protein and just 1 gram of sugar per serve, there’s no better option when it comes to treating yourself to a guilt-free sweet!

But most importantly, they’re rich, gooey and delicious.

Our base mix, however, is just the beginning of their potential. We can see so many elaborate desserts arising from this simple, macro-friendly mix.

Let us share with you some of our visions!

Bulk them up with nuts or berries

Our Brownie Mix is the perfect base to build your decked out brownies from. It’s lower calorie and has better macros than most brownie recipes, so adding in a few sneaky treats won’t harm your diet too much!

Ready to take your brownie to the next level?

Here’s how:

  • Nutty Chocolate Brownies – Calling all nut addicts! Add a scoop or two of peanut butter to the mix and if you’re a real nut fan stir through some crumbed walnuts as well.
  • Choc Berry Brownies – For a fresh, fruity twist! Add in quarter cup of fresh or frozen berries to the mix. Our favourites are either raspberries or cherries. Before baking in the oven, sprinkle a few extra on top as well.
  • Triple Choc Brownies – This one is for the lover of all things chocolate! Add quarter cup of  chocolate chips to the mix. We used a dreamy combo ofwhite, dark and milk. Sprinkle some on top before baking too *drool*.

Roll them into protein balls

Either way, we have the solution.

You can up the decadence of our Protein Brownie Mix in just five minutes simply by adding a few extra ingredients and rolling into tasty Brownie Balls.

Here’s how:

  • Place half of the Brownie Mix sachet in a bowl with 50g almond spread or peanut butter, 20g melted coconut oil, 20ml milk or water and 20ml rice malt syrup or maple syrup.
  • Stir. Roll. Enjoy!

  • Remove Brownie Balls from the freezer.
  • Place a skewer in each balls and dip individually into melted chocolate.

Crumble them over Whey Cool or ice cream

Turn your regular bowl of Whey Cool or ice cream into a full on treat with this hack.

If you’ve already baked your Brownie Mix and it’s starting to get a little stale after days of neglect, we have a way to save it.

Here’s how:

  • Place a slice of brownie in a bowl.
  • Use fingers to gently pull it apart and create a fine crumble.
  • Scoop prepared Whey Cool into a bowl.
  • Sprinkle with crunchy, sweet brownie crumbs.

What’s Whey Cool?

Just in case you were wondering, Whey Cool is our way cooler alternative to ice cream. It’s high protein, low carb, low fat and tastes just as good as ice cream.

Each 50 gram serve delivers more than 25 grams of protein with less than 10 grams of carbs allowing you to indulge without the guilt.

Whey Cool comes in powder form and all you have to do is add water, shake and freeze.
